VICFS is proud to present Vancouver International Children's Festival 2008: Variety Show at Vanier Park (Tent 3)

Jam-packed with great music, zany characters and wild antics, our 2008 Festival Variety Show features three music acts from our American neighbours. Musical powerhouse Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir, the King of Zydeco Terrance Simien with Creole for Kidz, plus an extra-terrestrial musical invasion by BIG NAZO with their Intergalactic Creature Show. To top it all off, rock-and-roll circus mixed with zany comedy will be presented by The Perfect Unknowns/Les Parfaits Inconnus from Québec. Hosted by Canada's first lady of folk Connie Kaldor, this is an evening that will blow your socks off! Get your tickets early for the show with the most bang for your buck.

The Vancouver International Children's Festival is an annual event that is a major tourist attraction in Vancouver, British Columbia. In 2008, the Festival will run May 12-19 at Vancouver's Vanier Park. Featured performers include: Halmang, Myth of Jeju Island; Les Parfaits Inconnus; Big Nazo Intergalactic Creature Show; Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience; Connie Kaldor; Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir; Sam's Rot'n Pot'n Pan Band; Henry V (Theatre Gruene Sosse); Hansel and Gretel (Matthias Kutchta); The Little Old Man (Theatre Bagger); Kling Klang (Det Lille Turneater); Staccato (Theatre de L'Aubergine); James Campbell; Red Thunder: The Next Generation, and author Kenneth Oppel.
