Stories tell us who we are...but they are not always easy. This discussion forum features a panel of storytellers exploring the value of speaking the truth, even when it's uncomfortable. Topics covered: First Nations and oral storytelling, ownership of stories, how telling - and not telling - stories shape our families and society.

Invited panelists include:

  • Meghan Gardiner (actor, playwright)

  • Diane Jennings (life coach, trainer)

  • Helen May (storyteller)

  • Marilyn Norry (producer, actor, writer)

  • Jessica Wood (oral historian, storyteller)

Forum chaired by Nadine Pedersen (writer, editor, publisher).
