Welcome to the Urban Mixer events calendar for Monday, February 14th, 2005, a place where you may choose from a number of quality events that will suit your busy daytimer. My personal picks are below and I welcome your feedback on whether this information is useful to you as a member.

Sunday Night's Urban Mixer Twisted Conversations Speed Dating Event

Yesterday, 15 girls and 15 guys showed up to the Buffalo Club for a great round of speed dating. So far I've heard some great reviews on the event and the photos are already up on the website. You can click on this link to view them. The hightlight of the night was after the event where they set up a mechanical bull. A number of our members rode the bull. Sadly, I didn't last long but kudos out to Natalie and Frances for makin' more than eight.

Urban Mixer Valentine's Model Giveaway

Saturday night, we went out to a BC Cancer Foundation fundraiser entitled J'adore at the Vancouver Club. This evening featured a great lingerie fashion show co-ordinated by Tasha E featuring fashions by Ginch Gonch and some really great lingerie imported from Mexico, live Jazz with Shairah, musical stylings by Shine Nightclub's own DJ Timeline and some really great live opera singing. Two models were auctioned off at the end of the night and I was able to snag one of them.

Ladies.... meet Kolten. 21, bright, enthusiastic, well travelled, and magic on the skim-board. Kolten is set up to take one of you lucky ladies out to the Quay for a 3 course prix-fixe dinner valued at approximately $100. At the same time, the winner of our lucky draw will also get their choice of a pair of Ginch Gonch. Climb the Wall Centre with other Urban Mixer Members next Sunday, February 20th

On the 20th of February, I'll be climbing all 48 stories of the Vancouver Wall Centre with the Bottoms Up Team for the Lung Association of British Columbia. For those who want to join in and participate as part of my team, please do let me know before Wednesday (at the very latest). The Urban Mixer is sponsoring the Bottoms Up Team and we'll all be wearing custom t-shirts for the event bearing the Urban Mixer logo. It takes time to produce these quality garments and I wouldn't want any of my team to be the odd ones out.
