Welcome to the Urban Mixer events calendar for Monday, March 7th, 2005, a place where you may choose from a number of quality events that will suit your busy daytimer. My personal picks are below and I welcome your feedback on whether this information is useful to you as a member.

SOCIAL EMPIRE DINNER PARTY EVENT ANNOUNCED

On March 16th, our sister group, the Social Empire will be hosting an RSVP-only dinner party at a first-class Yaletown restaurant. You can find out more about joining the Social Empire on their website at http://www.socialempire.com.

HELP SUPPORT THE BEAUTYNIGHT SOCIETY

Need to treat yourself? Go for it! From March 4th to 8th, Beauty Night Society will be selling gift bags choc full of beauty products and other goodies at the Bay Downtown (Georgia and Granville) in Celebration of International Women's Day. This way you can treat yourself and make a difference to your community as the total proceeds raised go to Beauty Night Society's programming and building fund. Beauty Night has given over 6000 makeovers to women and youth who deal with violence to reintroduce touch in a non-threatening way. If you would like to volunteer or require more information, visit www.beautynight.org.
